Welcome to Blaze Car Rentals. You agree to comply with the following terms and conditions by renting a vehicle from us. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.
1.1. Drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license for at least one year.
1.2. An international driver’s permit is required for non-EU residents.
1.3. A valid form of identification (passport or ID card) must be presented at the time of rental.
2.1. Reservations can be made via our website, email, or phone.
2.2. Payment can be made in cash, by credit card, or debit card.
2.3. A deposit may be required at the time of booking. This will be refundable upon the return of the vehicle in the agreed condition.
2.4. All prices include VAT and applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
3.1. Vehicles must be picked up and returned at the agreed location and time.
3.2. Late returns may incur additional charges as per our pricing policy.
3.3. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition it was rented, with the same fuel level.
4.1. The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel.
4.2. Customers must return the vehicle with a full tank. Otherwise, refueling charges will apply.
5.1. All vehicles are insured with basic third-party liability coverage as required by law.
5.2. Additional insurance options, such as collision damage waiver (CDW) and theft protection, are available at an extra cost.
5.3. The renter is responsible for any damage or loss not covered by the insurance.
5.4. The renter is liable for any traffic violations or parking fines incurred during the rental period.
6.1. Blaze Car Rentals provides 24-hour roadside assistance for mechanical failures.
6.2. Assistance for issues caused by driver negligence (e.g., lost keys, flat tires) may incur additional charges.
7.1. Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund.
7.2. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the pickup time may incur a cancellation fee.
7.3. No-shows or cancellations made after the scheduled pickup time will not be eligible for a refund.
8.1. The vehicle must not be used:
For illegal purposes or activities.
To transport hazardous or flammable materials.
For racing or off-road driving.
By anyone other than the authorized driver(s).
9.1. In case of an accident, the renter must notify Blaze Car Rentals and local authorities immediately.
9.2. A detailed accident report must be provided.
9.3. Any damages caused by the renter’s negligence will be charged accordingly.
10.1. Blaze Car Rentals respects your privacy and will not share your personal information with third parties unless required by law.
10.2. Personal data collected during the booking process will be used solely for rental purposes.
11.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Greece.
11.2. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts located in Chania, Greece.
